Oh yeah right ...Blogger!
Geez 2 days without a fix and I am lost.:) I have been so busy the last few days I wasn't able to visit my favorite blogs and read the posts.....wow it was eating me alive!
I felt like this old iron:
Rusty, dusty....out of practice, lol.
This week I had to go house painting, my tv broke down, the dryer went kaput so I have clothes hanging from every available door or towel rack. Not my finest hour and yet I survived and I can even smile this morning.
Ah yes this weekend, I will clean the house, my friend's hubby is coming over tonight to look at the dryer (fingers crossed) and I will finally have some time to browse "my blogs" (similar to the old "my shows" but way more fun)!
So in addition to all the other stuff that happens around here I am setting aside quality time to BlogHop!
Miss you guys!
Well, I was wondering what you were up to! When it rains it pours, huh?
ReplyDeleteI bet your house is full of lovely laundry scents and humidity!!! But you aren't missing much on TV ~ so you may as well paint!
Can't wait till your back in blogland! Miss ya, too!
Hugs,
Jan
Gee, I really like that old iron trivet! That is way cool! I think I would be slightly bonkers if my blogs weren't available! I know, my time will come, but for now, I'm glad to have them!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Southern California.
ReplyDeleteI added myself to follow your blog. You are more than welcome to visit mine and become a follower if you want to.
God Bless You, ~Ron
Stuff happening here too but love your posts. Looking forward to hearing from you in February re the Frida Kahlo painting. All the best. Cx
ReplyDeleteGlad you are able to take some time for You. We all need to do that once in a while. :)
ReplyDeleteawwwwwwwwwwwww..this was a cute post...Loved the part about the 'favorite shows' and blogging. I SO agree...hope the dryer gets fixed sweetie. Love ya girl
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the way it always goes, when one thing breaks , everything breaks, hope the dryer gets fixed...fingers crossed!

It does seem like everything happens at once! We just replaced our washer and dryer a few months ago, and what a difference in our power bill, so it was worth it.
ReplyDeleteMy espresso shop was named Jilly Bean...just like your calico cat!!! Something else in common! :-)
I hope you have a great weekend, and your dryer can be fixed!
Thanks for hopping by MY blog and leaving such a nice comment! I do appreciate it! Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteHi Tina! Thanks so much for your comment on my blog. You hit the nail on the head! It's just so hard to keep up the momentum when having to stop, especially when I'm working on my pastels. I can much more easily get back to rug hooking, but even a day or two away from my drawing makes me feel rusty. Also, I found the copy of the book Country Diary.... on Amazon for about $4. There were several book sellers in that price range. I just love the new look of your blog! So fresh! I need to get out to my blog friends more often to check in. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Tina!
ReplyDeleteWOW....I hope this coming week is better than the last! Sounds like you're on the right track.
Your blog header is so pretty. It puts me in the mood for gardening. We cleaned out some of the dead stuff from the yard today and are itching to plant flowers!!!!!!! Spring cannot get here soon enough - ha!
Blessings and Hugs,
Sabre'
Why is it that when one mechanical thing breaks, another feels the need to?
ReplyDeleteVery odd.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
Take it easy.

Your right, I feel that way too when I can't browse my blogs. When I was a young woman it was "One life to live"ect..Now my blogs have even almost replaced my magazines.
ReplyDeleteTina,
ReplyDeleteI always say that it is the snow ball effect with things breaking or doing a remodeling job. More just keeps getting added to that snowball rolling down a hill!!
Hope everything settles down for you and you will get some time to yourself!!
Hugs,
Debbie
there really should be more time in a day so that we could get around to every blog we love to indulge in, right! lol
ReplyDeleteI used to have a vintage iron like that...with the hot plate..but sold it when we moved! Now I'm missing it....go figure!
ciao bella
