BUCOLIC MOOD.....

BUCOLIC MOOD available now in my Etsy shop (see link at right)

Lately I have been incredibly bored with painting and I had no idea why but yesterday while looking for something in my spare room I came across my "dolls in progress" from last year and my interest was peeked once again so I am thinking that maybe all I need is a change now and then to keep my thoughts fresh and exciting!
Does anyone else ever get "creative ennui?" or am I bi-polar?
Have a lovely day!

  1. I like those sheep, and I get periods where I don't write even when I would like to, same as you and your artistic creating.

  2. I like your bucolic painting. I have lots of times when I feel like I want to do something creative but I just can't seem to figure out what so I do nothing at all. Finally picked up some yarn and made a couple of dishcloths. At least I did something and they don't require a lot of thought. :) Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend! Tammy

  3. Hello Friend!! I was going through my blog list and thought I'd stop by and let you know that you're being thought of in northern Virginia this morning. Actually, I thought of you a few other times this past week when friends of mine were admiring the painting you did of our beloved boy Tanner--That painting has become such a treasure to me.

I so hope you are doing well, and enjoying the fall weather. Take care of yourself, okay? :-)

  4. Hi, thought I would drop by those who are kind enough to follow my blog! Reading this post and I know it was written a while back. But sometimes I think we need a break from our routine. Its good for the soul and good for our art1 I'm making aprons at the moment, which is a far cry from the art I normally do. I'm not sure why except I am attracted to the colours of the fabrics and just playing with my machine! Its just fun! Would love to see the dolls and I love your sheep! x Julie
