I chose to use the gauze and plaster on the surface of the canvas again as it allows me to scratch into the surface after it has dried and I love that.
I also chose not to over-detail the composition which I feel gives it a more wintery, misty look.Gisele is a 16" x 20" canvas an I am putting her on Ebay, here's hoping someone will love the wistful look on her face!
Hope everyone is having a bang up day and keeping those fingers and toes warm!
Love,
Tina xo
Hi Tina, WOW this is wonderful. I love the neutral palette and it is soft and wintry for the season. I am sure it will go fast to a new owner. Your talents are over the moon dear friend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and your kind comment. Yes, I do think the butterflies can still be sent straight to the museum. Thank you for that reminder so anyone reading still has time.
Have a wonderful weekend.

ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS PAINTING TINA,
ReplyDeleteI soooooo love the expression on her face, even though it is some what sad. I love art so much....and you are so very talented. I have never tried plaster and gauze...to me it looks very old, like it was part of a parisian estate
